Amanda Cox is a London based Costume Designer who has been working in film and television for over twelve years.

Clothes tell a person’s story. She believes a person’s clothes capture their history and identity. She portrays this through her work looking at characters and environment to find complimentary aesthetics.

Sustainability is central. Amanda has a real focus on Sustainable Costume, using second hand or eco friendly textiles and materials where possible. Also works closely with the founder of The Costume Directory.

Voicing the passion for sustainable costume in film. She has given guest talks to Universities on Sustainable Costume in Film and Television and been on discussion panels for The Festival of Sustainable Fashion. Having worked on a varying scale of productions from micro budgets to big feature films she has gained a wealth of experience.
